Central Bank of India has been awarded First Prize for excellent implementation of Official Language Policy of Government of India in Mumbai Metro area for the year 2014-2015. Shri M.M. Panda, Dy. Zonal Manager, Central Bank of India received the FIRST PRIZE from Shri Vinod Kumar Sharma, Dy. Director, Govt Of India , Ministry Of Home Affairs, Rajbhasha Vibhag and Shri Deepak Bhandari, Chairman Bank TOLIC and Dy Zonal Manager, Bank of Maharashtra in a function organized at Mumbai.

Central Bank of India received Banking technology Award for best technology initiative for Financial Inclusion as Runner Up in the category amongst Medium Banks. The award title is “The Best Financial Inclusion Initiative” One-way Technology Conference, Expo and Awards Presentation Ceremony was organized by IBA on February 16, 2016 at Hotel Trident, Nariman Point. The award was received by Ms. Usha Menon GM-IT & Mr. Jacob Ninan , DGM-IT and other officials attended the event.

Central Bank of India has been awarded ‘First’ Prizes by Reserve Bank of India in a function held on 24th May, 2016 at Y.B. Chavan Auditorium of Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai for the best implementation of Official Language Policy of Govt. of India for the year 2014-15 in all the Linguistic Regions ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’. Our bank’s house-journal ‘CENTRALITE’ has also been awarded with ‘Consolation’ prize under the Banks’ house-journals prize scheme.

In this glittering function, Governor of Reserve Bank of India Dr. Raghuram Rajan has conferred award to ED of Central Bank of India Dr. R.C. Lodha. Shri S.S. Mundra, Dy. Governor, RBI, Shri Deepak Singhal, Executive Director, RBI and Guest of honour Shri Anup Kumar Srivastav, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and General Manager (Rajbhasha) Shri Ramniwas Syndolia, General Manager/Editor ‘Centralite’ Shri P.J. Kumar and Asstt. General Manager (Rajbhasha) Dr. Usha Gupta, Chief Manager (Rajbhasha) Shri Mahesh Mishra and Senior Manager (Rajbhasha) Pradeep Kumar Goyal all from Central Bank of India were also present on this occasion.

Central Bank of India has been awarded with “Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskaar ’’ second prize for it’s best implementation of Official Language Policy of Government of India under the category of nationalized banks in linguistic Region “B” for the year 2015-16 in a glittering function held on 14th September, 2016 (Hindi Day) at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. This Shield was given by the Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee, President of India to Shri Rajeev Rishi, Chairman & Managing Director, Central Bank of India. The ceremony was presided over by the Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh. Sh. Kiren Rijiju, State Home Minister and a good number of senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, and top executives of various Banks and Undertakings were also present on the occasion.
